Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others tell the site owner how the site is used.
The cookies we use
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | How long it lasts | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ohp_consent | Oxford Handyman Pro | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so we do not ask again | 6 months | Strictly necessary |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells visits from different browsers apart | 2 years | Analytics, only if you accept |
| _ga_V8WDZ2N8B2 | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current visit | 2 years | Analytics, only if you accept |
We do not use advertising or social media cookies. If you log in to manage this website, WordPress sets its own login cookies; visitors never receive these.
Your choice
On your first visit, a small box asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics only loads if you choose “Accept”. If you choose “No thanks”, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; if you withdraw your consent, we remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
What Google Analytics tells us
It shows us which pages are visited and for how long, what kind of device is used, the approximate area (town or city) and how people found our site. It does not tell us your name or contact details, and Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the ohp_consent cookie, we will ask for your choice again on each visit.
