Who we are
Oxford Handyman Pro is a trading name of SIERRA OXFORD LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 15755072), 118 Pound Way, Oxford OX4 3XR. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at service@oxfordhandymanpro.co.uk or on 07900 458289.
What we collect
- When you ask for a quote or book a job: your name, phone number, email address (optional), postcode, the address where the work is, a description of the job and any photos you send. You can contact us through the form on this website, by phone, by email or on WhatsApp.
- When we work for you: quotes, invoices, payments and our messages about the job.
- When you use this website: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how you use the site, such as the pages you visit, your device and browser type, your approximate location and how you found us. Our host, WordPress.com, keeps server logs (such as IP address and browser) to run and protect the site, and counts visits for our site statistics.

Photos and reviews
We use the photos you send only to understand and price the job. We publish before and after photos only with your permission, and never show your house number, street, faces or anything else that identifies you or your home. Reviews on our site are copied from our Google Business Profile, with the reviewer’s name as it appears on Google. Ask us and we will remove any photo or review from our site.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with:
- WordPress.com (Automattic Inc.), which hosts this website and receives the messages sent through our quote form
- WordPress.com, our email provider
- Google, for Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us there
- a qualified electrician we work with, when your job includes electrical work
- HMRC or other authorities, when the law requires it
Transfers outside the UK
Automattic, Google and Meta may process data in the United States. These transfers are protected by the UK–US data bridge or by contracts approved under UK law, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
- Quote requests that do not lead to a job: deleted after 12 months.
- Customer, job and invoice records: 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as HMRC requires.
- Published photos and reviews: until you ask us to remove them.
- Google Analytics data: up to 14 months.
Your rights
You have the right to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a format you can take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect what we did before. Email service@oxfordhandymanpro.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Do you have to give us your details?
To reply to a quote request we need your name, a phone number and a description of the job. Everything else is optional. We do not make automated decisions about you.
Keeping it safe
Only the people who need your details for your job can see them. This website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and photos sent with a quote request are deleted together with the request.
